- Expression of Interest are invited for Update of Generation and Transmission Master Plan The objective of this assignment is to provide the Government of Burundi, with support of the World Bank: (i) a complete updated Generation and Transmission Master Plan for Burundi covering the period 2027-2040; and (ii) an assessment of the variable renewable energy (VRE) deployment potential in Burundi. Tasks include: · Update of the Master Plan up to 2040 and least cost generation scenarios for VRE deployment (last update of the Master Plan until 2027 was conducted in 2023) · VRE integration analysis · Locational study · 5-day training to the Ministry of Energy and REGIDESO
