• Description:
• Quotation are invited for Repair the Water Leakage of the Swimming Pool at Residence Owned by the U.S. Embassy in Burundi. • Removing the existing floor tiles around first the backflow piping on the south side of the pool. • Removing the mortar bed and the concrete at the same location. • Digging the area to look for the location of the water leakages. • Fixing/replacing the water pipe/cracks leakages. • Testing and checking if the repair is definitely well done. • If not, checking where are other locations of water leakages, fix them and test. • If the test is perfect, putting back the soil and sand and then compact them. • Cleaning the area with water and appropriate brushes before pouring new concrete. • Pouring protection concrete assayed at 150kg/ m3 of 5cm of thickness. • Installing rebars of diameter 8 mm every 15 cm in both directions. • Pouring new reinforced and vibrated concrete assayed at 450kg/m3 of 15cm of thickness. • Laying new stones uniformly and leveling maintaining uniform grout. • The new stones should much the existing ones. • Fixing the existing crack located on the walkway along the swimming pool on the West side. • Installing grout of stones to much the existing ones and cleaning properly all the installed tiles. • Watering the area during at least three days. • Cleaning, fixing and or replacing anything damaged during the work. • Completion of work shall officially be seen off by a representative from the contracted company and a representative from the US Embassy. • Upon completion of the work, the contractor is responsible for cleaning the work site and disposing of all related trash and debris. Enlarge the walkway in close of the pool area and remove the built-in BBQ grill • Remove the built-in BBQ grill • Remove grasses and excavation of 15 cm of thickness of one portion of garden near the pool (COR will show the location of that area) • Pouring protection concrete assayed at 150kg/ m3 of 5cm of thickness. • Installing rebars of diameter 8 mm every 15 cm in both directions. • Pouring new reinforced and vibrated concrete assayed at 450kg/m3 of 15cm of thickness. • Laying new stones uniformly and leveling maintaining uniform grout. • The new stones should much the existing ones. • Installing grout of stones to much the existing ones and cleaning properly all the installed tiles. • Watering the area during at least three days. • Removing all debris from the site and properly cleaning the area. 6 • Fixing and or replacing anything damaged during the work. • Completion of work shall officially be seen off by a representative from the contracted company and a representative from the US Embassy.
