Request for proposals are invited for Personnel, Accounting and Logistics Services ccounting Services The tasks of the contract will consist of the following : • Receive advances from JHU - CCP and pay all local expenses related to the operation of the CCP office in Burundi. • Open and maintain a separate bank account for all advances from JHU - CCP. All interest earned on advances from JHU - CCP must be recorded as revenue and remitted to JHU - CCP as a separate check on a monthly basis. • Follow tht record all receipts. • Monitor and ensure the fulfillment of all tax obligations of JHU - CCP in the country including taxes and duties to the competent local authorities . • Prepare monthly financial reports detailing all operating expenses and other fund balance transactions and submit them electronically to designated JHU - CCP staff by the 10th of the following month. • Based on a three-day week, prepare payment authorizations for approval by JHU representative- CCP and make payments on behalf of JHU - CCP. All payment authorizations must be signed by the project coordinator of JHU - CCP in Burundi . • Reconcile the bank account(s) of JHU - CCP. • Attend budget meetings with headquarters . • Track VAT payments and comply with JHU - CCP 's VAT policies.
