World Relief Burundi is a Christian humanitarian organization founded in 2004 whose mission is to strengthen the local church to serve the most vulnerable. Unique in its approach, WRB works with over 481 local churches and over 3,000 volunteers from all denominations in the provinces of Gitega, Mwaro, Kirundo, Ruyigi and Karusi. Current programs include early childhood development, health and nutrition, family planning/family for life, agriculture, combating sexual and gender-based violence, food security (Agriculture for life ), the savings and credit program (Saving for life). To contribute effectively to the achievement of its objectives, World Relief Burundi wishes to adopt a strategy of localization of interventions.
